Privacy Policy
It is not our Notice of Privacy Practices. Your protected health information — your dental records, treatment history, X-rays, and billing records — is governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Texas law, and is described in a separate document. A copy of our Notice of Privacy Practices is available at our front desk and will be provided on request.
If anything in this Privacy Policy appears to conflict with our Notice of Privacy Practices regarding protected health information, the Notice of Privacy Practices controls.

2. Information we collect

When you use our appointment request form, contact form, or otherwise reach out through this site, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your phone number and email address
- The reason for your visit or the service you are interested in
- How you heard about our practice
- Any other information you choose to include in a message
Please do not send detailed medical or dental history, symptoms, photographs, insurance card images, or Social Security numbers through this website. Information collected automatically
When you visit this site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies:
- IP address, and the general location derived from it, such as city or region
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages you viewed, links you clicked, and time spent on the site
- The website or search that referred you to us
- Date and time of your visit
Text message consent
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, you consent to receive text messages from us, including appointment reminders and promotional messages, which may be sent using an autodialer. Consent is not a condition of receiving treatment or purchasing anything from us. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.
3. How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and send reminders about appointments
- Respond to your questions and requests
- Verify insurance eligibility and process billing and claims
- Provide and improve our dental services
- Understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it
- Market our services to you, where you have not opted out
- Comply with our legal, regulatory, and professional obligations
4. When we share your information
We use third-party companies to operate this website and our practice, and information is shared with them as described below. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Service providers who work on our behalf
We share information with companies that provide services to us, including:
- Adit — our online appointment scheduling platform. When you click “Book An Appointment,” you are directed to a scheduling page operated by Adit.
- Google — we use Google Workspace and Gmail for email correspondence.
- Our website hosting provider — which stores this website and its server logs.
- Our text messaging provider — which delivers appointment reminders and other messages you have consented to receive.
- Our practice management and billing software provider — which maintains patient records, schedules, and claims.
These providers may access your information only to perform services for us. Where a provider handles protected health information, we require a Business Associate Agreement as HIPAA mandates.
Analytics, measurement, and advertising
We use Google Tag Manager to deploy measurement tools on this site, including Google Analytics.
These tools set cookies and receive information including your IP address, device details, and the pages you view. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.
We embed Google Maps on our pages so you can find our office. Loading these maps sends information to Google, including your IP address, whether or not you interact with the map.
If we run online advertising campaigns, conversion measurement tags supplied by the relevant advertising platform, such as Google Ads or Meta, may also be active on this site. These allow us to measure how many people who saw an ad went on to contact us.
Third-party financing partners
We display links to independent financing companies — CareCredit, Cherry, and Sunbit. When you click through to apply, you leave our website and any information you provide goes directly to that company, not to us. We do not control and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Each operates under its own privacy policy and its own credit terms, and approval is subject to their criteria, not ours.
Social media
Our site links to our pages on Facebook and Instagram, which are operated by Meta. Visiting those pages is subject to Meta’s privacy policy, not this one.
Insurance carriers and payers
To verify benefits and submit claims, we share necessary information with your dental insurance carrier, Medicaid, CHIP, or other payer. This sharing is governed by HIPAA and described more fully in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Legal and safety disclosures
We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order; to cooperate with regulators including the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners; to establish or defend legal claims; or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent harm.
Business transfers
If our practice is sold, merged, or reorganized, patient and website information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
5. Cookies and your choices
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to keep the site working properly, remember your preferences, and measure site performance.
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking them may affect how parts of this site function.
- Google Analytics opt-out — install the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Global Privacy Control — we honor GPC signals sent by your browser as a request to opt out of targeted advertising.
6. Sensitive information and targeted advertising
Texas law treats information about a person’s health condition or diagnosis as sensitive data requiring consent before it is processed.
We do not use information about your dental conditions, symptoms, or the specific treatments you inquire about to target advertising to you, and we do not share that information with advertising companies.
7. Your privacy rights
If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives you the right to:
- Confirm whether we are processing your personal data and access it
- Correct inaccuracies in your personal data
- Delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you
- Obtain a copy of your data in a portable format
- Opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects
Residents of other states may have comparable rights under their own laws, and we will honor verifiable requests where those laws apply.
To make a request, call us at (972) 634-7787, email us at easydentaldallas@gmail.com, or write to us at 6181 Bonnie View Rd #100, Dallas, TX 75241. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and will respond within 45 days. We may extend that period by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, and will notify you if we do.
If we deny your request
You may appeal our decision by writing to us at the address above, or emailing us, with the subject line “Privacy Request Appeal.” We will respond in writing within 60 days explaining our reasoning.
If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection.
Rights relating to your dental records are handled separately under HIPAA. See our Notice of Privacy Practices for how to request access to or amendment of your health records.
8. Children’s privacy
We treat children as patients, and we welcome them.
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to submit their own information through it. When a parent or legal guardian submits information about a minor — to request an appointment, for example — we treat that information as being provided by the adult on the child’s behalf.
Information about minor patients that we collect in the course of providing treatment is protected health information, governed by HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us directly, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. How we protect your information
We maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, staff training, and encryption of protected health information as required by the HIPAA Security Rule.
No method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure. Email and text messages in particular are not secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us through them. Please use the phone or an in-person conversation for anything sensitive.
10. How long we keep information
We retain dental records for the period required by Texas law and the rules of the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. Website inquiry data and analytics data are kept only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, and are then deleted or de-identified.
11. Links to other websites
Our site links to third-party websites including our financing partners, our social media pages, and Google Maps. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. Please review their policies before providing information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. Material changes will be announced on this page.
